Ved siden av&nbsp;is a fluid work, in which the physical and musical expressions were created through improvisation by musician Christian Aftreth Eriksen and dance artists Ingeborg Dugstad Sanders and Terje Tjøme Mossige.&nbsp; The intention behind the production is a desire to create an abstract production that will put emotions and intellect into movement, generate space for interpretation and set trains of thought in motion. 
Moments of subtle, resonant and physical velvet, of swift and furious physical strokes in the room, of tangible floating clouds. Together, the players create a place which has never existed before, and fill this place with surprises: some beautiful, some ugly, and some which we see but do not understand.
 
The production is presented in conjunction with Øyvind Jørgensen’s Overstått eller nært forestående. Both productions involve trios, with two dancers and one musician on the stage. Ved siden av is performed first. There will then be a 20 minute interval before Overstått eller nært forestående&nbsp;is performed.
