The Dancing Public is an intense solo production by and with the Danish dancer and choreographer Mette Ingvartsen. The production summarises the unique year of 2020, and explodes in a mix of intense movements and music that makes it difficult to sit still. Ingvartsen invites audiences to a dance marathon that anyone can join in with.
Are we ready to get high on life again? Do we need to cast off the body’s spiritual garbage after the ravages of the pandemic?
The performance is part of Oslo International Theatre festival 2022, and is a collaboration between Dansens Hus and Black Box teater.
