IMPROFESTIVALEN er en &aring;rlig internasjonal festival for scenisk improvisert dans som arrangeres 16. &ndash; 23. juni p&aring; Follo folkeh&oslash;gskole i Vestby utenfor Oslo.
Her kommer folk fra n&aelig;r og fjern for &aring; utforske og praktisere improvisasjon som scenisk uttrykk. Gjennom workshops, kunstneriske samtaler, forestillinger, jams og labratorievirksomhet, hopper, faller, snubler, glir og svinger vi oss rundt i troen p&aring; improvisasjonen som scenisk form. Festivalen har breiet seg ut siden 2010, og i &aring;r er vi stolte av &aring; presentere prestisjetunge internasjonale dansekunstnere og workshopholdere som David Zambrano (NL/VE), Martin Nachbar (DE), Rosalind Crisp (AUS/FR) og Andrew Morrish (AUS).
P&aring; Dansens Hus 21. - 22. juni vises det to ulike forestillinger spekket med erfaring og eksperimentering, dybde og kvalitet, humor og alvor, noe n&aelig;rt, noe s&aelig;rt, mye dans og annet improsnacks.
Hvorfor dra til kontinentet n&aring;r man kan dra til Follo og Dansens Hus?
ImproFestivalen 2013 arrangeres av improCREW: Marie Nikazm Bakken, Katja Schia, Caroline Svartdahl, Ida Gudbrandsen og Karen H&oslash;ybakk Mikalsen, i samarbeid med Follo folkeh&oslash;gskole og Dansens Hus.

&nbsp;IMPROFESTIVALEN is an annual international festival for improvised performing dance. People are coming in from all around to practice their passion for improvisation on the stage. Through workshops, artist talks, performances, jams and a lab, we are jumping, falling, stumbling, sliding and swinging about in faith of Improvisation as artistic form. The Festival has expanded since it's beginning in 2010, and this year we are proud to present international highly regarded dance-artists/workshopholders like David Zambrano (NL/VE), Martin Nachbar (DE), Rosalind Crisp (AUS/FR) and Andrew Morrish (AUS). Why travel around Europe when you simple can go to Vestby and Follo Folkeh&oslash;gskole in Norway? We are also appearing at The House of Dance in Oslo (Dansens Hus), where we promise improsnacks for everyone!
