The Lebanese-Spanish choreography duo Guy Nader and Maria Campos go to the extreme and get seven dancers and one musician to defy both time and gravity with repetitive movements and acrobatics.
How do we experience time in the labyrinth that makes up our memories, and how do you make it visible? The dancers show us the passage of time, and the perseverance of life through repetition and rhythm. They go to extremes and defy the laws of physics with their dancing bodies.
Leaning on each other and each other’s weight, the dancers constantly push each other to great heights. Some swing regularly through the air. The movement material is as fleeting as it is acrobatic, and at times also references breakdance and capoeira.
