South Korea and North Korea exist side by side with two completely different political and ideological systems.
How have art and culture really developed in North Korea, and are there any similarities with its neighbour? The South Korean choreographer Eun-Me Ahn has used the Internet in her quest for answers. She found a profusion of military parades, fan dances and virtuoso acrobatics. With her usual style, she has transformed these into a colourful and playful production, where tradition and history meet outstanding contemporary dance.
