Events and venue hire
Dansens Hus can be hired for large or small events.
We are in a fantastic location, as close to the Akerselva river as you can get, and right next door to Mathallen in the Vulkan district. We have a beautiful and functional foyer with a bar, the Main Stage for large events and the more intimate Studio Stage. All these rooms can be hired either individually or as a package. We are happy to help create artistic touches if you would like us to.
Our unique network of Norwegian dance artists will make your event a distinctive one.
Do you have something to celebrate, or would you like to hold a small meeting or a launch?
You can hire the foyer for a party or small event on evenings when there is no performance. We have DJ equipment, easy-to-use microphone system, and the bartender can mix your favourite drinks. You can order from outside caterers who can deliver to the door. Finger-food works best, as we have no kitchen facilities or tableware for you to use.

Programming
The deadline for the next round of applications is on Tuesday 4 January at 13:00.
Dear dance artists.
Dansens Hus would like to receive applications for its programme from Norwegian choreographers and from choreographers living and working in Norway. Only Norwegian dance artists or dance artists who are living and working in Norway can apply to the Artistic Council. Other dance artists are welcome to submit their applications to Artistic Director Samme Raeymaekers or producer Saskia Wieringa.
