In collaboration with PRODA professional dance training, Dansens Hus offers dancers artists to participate in a work-in-progress workshop with dance artist Ulf Nilseng and musician Amund Ulvestad from Kompani Ulf. In the workshop, they will present their practice and interests in queer strategies within dance creation, as well as presenting methods linked to Kompani Ulf's performance Turning Vinegar into Wine. The performance will be presented at Dansens Hus 09-12. November.

BIO:
Kompani ULF is a company that makes queer art, mainly for the stage.
The work is led by choreographer and dancer Ulf Nilseng, and developed in close collaboration with the team. Nilseng is a distinctive and important voice in the Norwegian dance scene. As a choreographer, performer, and gender anarchist, he has for many years created art that can be characterized as Queer. With ULF, he continues to explore the body, dance, and ideas about freedom.
Amund Ulvestad is a Norwegian multimedia artist, musician and composer based in Oslo and Berlin. He holds an MA in Music Technology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
Ulvestad has been active as a touring musician since childhood, and has performed throughout Europe, Asia and Central and North America both as a soloist and as a member of various ensembles, employing the cello and sound electronics as his main instruments.
