In this conversation, choreographer Elle Sofe Sara meets Wenche Viktorsdatter Paulsen, director of the National Theatre, and Stine Nilsen, artistic director of Dansens Hus.
Together, they will discuss aspects of curating and programming artists with a specific cultural diversity in northern Scandinavia, using Elle Sofe Sara's artistry as a starting point.
How does contemporary performing arts help to preserve and provide new perspectives on the cultural, historical and linguistic heritage of the Sami people? How is this presented at the largest performing arts institutions in Norway?
