Welcome to an introductory presentation of Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker's artistic work – an oeuvre that today counts 43 years and 60 choreographic works. This presentation gives insight in how she uses choreography to investigate music, as well as formal principles and social structures. This has made her into one of the most important and leading voices within choreography and dance.
Dissemination and contextualisation consultant at Dansens Hus, Jonas Øren, presents how De Keersmaeker ties together dance and musical structures, movement and sound, as well as looking at formal principles from geometry, numerical patterns and social structures as an entrance to choreographic thinking and creation.
The presentations lasts for about 25 minutes and will be at the Studio Stage.
The presentation will be held in Norwegian.
