Saturday 22nd of February, performer, sound artist and choreographer Jassem Hindi and artist Sina Seifee will together with theatre scholar, dramaturg and writer Deise Faria Nunes talk about the choreographic work Sun Eaters.

Bio:
Born in Porto Alegre, Brazil, Deise Faria Nunes is an artist-researcher with a special interest in performance, rituals and audiovisual. She is a PhD fellow in the Theatre in Context program at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Agder, Norway, and a documentary film student at Kino-Doc, in Portugal. Based in Norway for over 20 years, Nunes has since 2004 been working as a performance artist, dramaturge, artistic producer and writer. She has collaborated among others with ACTS -Laboratory for Performance Practices as co-founder, Nordic Black Theatre, Odin Teatret (Denmark), Office for Contemporary Art-OCA, Oslo Biennale and Black Box Teater. She contributed as co-author in the historical anthology New Daughters of Africa (2019), edited by Margaret Busby. She was the head of the National Theatre Committee at the Arts Council Norway and a member of the Nordic Culture Fund's performing arts committee. Since 2017, Nunes has been working with a focus on research, production and dissemination of black women’s activities in the arts and culture.
