Tickets and audience services

You can buy tickets whenever you like on dansenshus.com (provided tickets are available for the performance you want to see).  For help with ticket purchases, send us an email to billettsalg@dansenshus.com, and we will reply as soon as possible. You can also reach us by phone on tel. +47 23709425 (Tues – Fri from 13:00–15:00). 
The box office counter opens one hour before a performance starts.

You can buy tickets without logging in, but it makes it easier for us to help you to find your tickets if you have registered the purchase under a name. If you register your phone number, we will send you an SMS with important information and your ticket 24 hours before a performance starts.

You must pay for your reserved ticket no later than 24 hours after ordering it. If you have not paid for the ticket by the deadline, it will automatically be re-released for sale. You can reserve tickets by contacting us by email, and we will then send you a payment link that is valid for 24 hours.

You can change your tickets to another day for the same production, provided that there are seats available. Contact us by email to change tickets.

If they are registered under a name or phone number/email, you can send us an email and we will send you a replacement ticket. If you have kept a record of your order number, you can also tell us this.

If you have a PDF document, you can show this on your phone or tablet at the entrance. If you do not have a smartphone, you can print your tickets and bring them with you.

Children must have their own ticket. This also applies to productions for babies or children. Anyone under the age of 25 is entitled to our cheapest ticket, which is currently NOK 155.

There is no right to cancel purchases of tickets for cultural or sporting events, even if the tickets were bought on the Internet. This means that if you change your mind after the purchase has gone through, you can’t ask for your money back.

Tickets that have been reserved and not retrieved by the deadline will be re-released for sale. We do not have waiting lists, but you can come to the box office counter and queue 30 minutes before a performance starts.

You can buy gift vouchers on dansenshus.com and print them yourself if you want a printed copy.

Gift vouchers are valid for two years from the date of purchase.

A gift voucher can be used as the means of payment, provided that it still has money left on it, throughout the two-year period of validity.

The PIN code is shown on the gift voucher.

You can take bus number 54 or 34 to Møllerveien, or tram number 11, 12 or 13 and get off at the Schous Plass stop.

EVERY PERFORMANCE STARTS PUNCTUALLY!
With very few exceptions, it is not possible to enter the auditorium after a performance has started. This is because the audience enters across the stage, and it would disrupt the performance. So arrive in plenty of time and enjoy the art!
Dansens Hus Bar is always open before and after a performance, so you are welcome to come and enjoy a selection of refreshments before the performance starts.

The Main Stage has numbered seating.
Choose where you want to sit or let the system choose for you. When buying tickets, the seating plan comes up when you choose seats.

On the Main Stage, almost without exception you can take drinks into the auditorium, in plastic glasses that you can get at the bar. On the Studio Stage, it is only on certain occasions that you can take drinks in.

Yes you can, but many of our productions do not have intervals.
